New Silverado

I went to the dealership today to get a transmission filter. I guess this was the first time I really noticed the new silverado.

I think it has the ugliest front end I have ever seen on a truck. What's with the LARGE chrome bumper edges? it just looks

out of place. Someone somehow along the designing process should have said "now that's one ugly bumper".

I'll keep my '01 Silverado until they change the front end again.

i felt the exact same way when i first saw the new silverados. but now the more i see them the more i like them. Youll probably be the same way. give it a month or 2.. you will like them.

There so nice I almost like them more than the GMC. Almost.

I actually think it's the nicest looking Silverado yet.

There's really very little change that I can see. The front end and some fender flares. But they are still similar. Put the Classic and the 900s in line wth a Ford F250 and a Dodge RAM head on, THEN you'll see some differences. In my opinion, Silverado/Sierra is the most refined of the lot. The others look like bluster on steroids.

i posted same thing last week! now that i see them around they look horible! For some reason i thought the front was going to look exactly like tahor or avalanche which looks great. that all grill look,looks like a gay smiley face coming down the road. gmc is much better, but ill stick with my 2002 !

some versions I like, Others I dont. I really liked the new 07 black RCSB z71 I saw the other day. But the new GMCs win in looks!!!

i posted same thing last week! now that i see them around they look horible! For some reason i thought the front was going to look exactly like tahor or avalanche which looks great. that all grill look,looks like a gay smiley face coming down the road. gmc is much better, but ill stick with my 2002 !

We plan on ordering the GMC. To me looks much better than the Silverado. Just can't get past that obnoxious front bumper and grill.

The new Chevy's are nice. I'm not diggin' the new GMC HD's front end though. Looks an awful lot like the super duty!!!

Saw a brand new Silverado last night coming home. Extended cab, reg. box, 4X4, Bright Red. It looked like the owner spent a lot of money at J.C. Whitney or something; the truck looked like a cover vehicle: WAY too many bolt ons. It was hideous.

Need to see more of them before passing them off as ugly. I do prefer the GMC front as of now though. In fact, Ive preferred the GMC front for the past 2 body styles as well.

Seeing the new 2500HD makes me darned glad that I pulled the trigger when I did. Man, I love my 2006+ Duramax/Allison.

My local dealer has a new GMC HD crew cab, long bed, Duramax in black. I got a chance to see it next to a Silverado HD and IMHO the Chevy looks alot better. The Chevy just seems to look stronger and tougher to me. I even like the way the bumper looks. Much better in person than in the pictures.
