Allison Tranny Leaking...

04 CC with Big Block and the Allison tranny. Just under 40k miles. Noticed football sized spot in garage...and looked under the truck. Yep, the Ally is leaking fluid.

 

Anyone experience this...and was dealership able to fix? Mine is under extended warranty with $0 deductable, so it's going in some time soon.

no leak on mine, but only at 26,000 miles. Just got done replacing fluid and spin on filter.

 

Can you tell where it's leaking?

Could be the 'pump rub' issue. Look about 5 bolts to the right of the drain plug at the rear housing for a small pinhole. This is where the transfer case pump rubs through the case. Worth a shot if you're not exactly sure where it's coming from.
