2500 Hd's Delayed

Hoping someone can give me the skinny on the 2500/3500 production situation. My brother's dealer (Chevrolet) implied to him yesterday that 2500 production is lagging well behind anticipated dates.

 

Not sure if he's right or just trying to impress with "his connections" to balance the fact that his lot is nearly empty on 2500's.

 

All I can say is that there are hardly any 2500 CC 4x4 6.0 SLT/LTZ product anywhere in my region and GMC's website still does not have an inventory search for 2500/3500 units. I've been looking at these for about six weeks and it seems like the tumbleweed badlands of the West on 2500's.

 

Now, if I wanted a stripped 2500 Chevrolet work truck I could have that.....

 

That commercial sure shows lots of them as being shipped out on the rail lines (and by a 3500 no less)

I got my 2500HD SLT Sierra last week, they are most definitely shipping.

I ordered my CCSB 6.0L 2wd March 2nd and It was built last week - should be at the dealer next week...
