Rough Riding Front End

I have a 1999 GMC Sierra Z71. I'm gonna say right off the bat that I have my torsion bars tightened. I am almost 100% sure that my front end is riding so rough because my torsion bars are cranked, but this topic was more questioning the theory of torsion bars vs. keys. If I "uncranked" my torsion bars and got torsion keys would this solve the problem of the rough riding front end or is it in theory the same thing?

If torsion keys won't help the problem what would you recommend? I know it isn't my shocks because my front end isn't bouncing at all it is just that the ride is so stiff in the front everytime i hit a bump i think my front end is about to fall out.

In my experience, it IS the shocks. By raising the front, you've eliminated all your downtravel on the stockers.

I bought longer shocks after cranking my bars, and it made the ride a LOT better.
