Cv Joints - Envoy Help Needed

I have a 2002 Envoy with 65000 miles. I am noticing grease leaking from both front CV joints but can't find and tears in the boots - the grease is flung on the engine underside and frame in a pattern that aligns with the larger boot clamp - almost like the boot clamp is allowing grease to leak past it.

 

Has anyone seen this before?

It is quite possible that the grease is leaking out of the clamps, I have seen that before. You can buy a boot replacement kit that comes with grease, but in a lot of cases it's cheaper and easier to buy a complete reman axle from auto parts store, usually about $100 per side and they come with lifetime warr. in most cases.
