I am just curious if anyone out there has tried ebay grills (bolt on) on your trucks? if so how easy is they install? how well are they built compared to more expensive grills? and how do they stand up over time?

depends on where you get them from, some places on ebay just liquidate quality parts with no warranty, for example i know a place that was liquidating 649$ nerf bars for 149$ now of course the quality was there but no warranty... most of the time on ebay you just have to choose wisely between products...

but thats just my .02 Steve :chevrolet:

I purchased billet grills off Ebay for both my suburban and my wifes Nissan Altima. Had both for almost 2 years now, and still look as good as when I installed them. I got the polished grills not the brushed. I've seen several people with brushed grills get pitted and corroded over time because there is no kind of protection or polish, just bare brushed aluminum. The grills I bought are painted black on the back and sides and just the face is shiny polished aluminum. The one for my truck was about $60 shipped and for my wifes car I paid about $140 shipped for the main grill and a grill to go across the lower bumper opening.

Just be careful that they are not refurbished and that they carry warranty.

Ebay does not make grills :chevrolet:

I bought my CarriageWorks brand billet grill on Ebay, brand new, in the box from a Truck access dealer in So dakota. I got it for $107 + $15 s/h. great deal, just be careful and don't buy a no-name POS. I wouldn't worry about a warranty on a grill, just make sure you can return it if it's defective when it arrives.
