I was looking at other peoples stuff, got bored and decided to try my hand at it. So I booted up MS Paint and after a horrific go-round, I came up with this.

That's really not too bad considering what you have to work with in MS paint. I think there are some free download able programs that have some photoshop type knock off features. You might want to look into paint shop pro? And I think photoshop offers a limited demo as well.

I actually have fireworks, but I don't really have the time it takes to learn it. I got it in a macromedia bundle a looong time ago. I think the flash I got with it is like 4 or 5, that tells you just how old this program set is.

I use the GIMP for my freeware photoshopping. It's very similar to Photoshop, but costs zilch.

Free is good.

Nice job working with Paint, BTW. It ain't the easiest to do blending with.

I like the "before" picture better.

Also if I may add, I'm not too much of a fan of mudguards. If I had to, I'd only use them while for off road action.

I like the concept of no door handles.. I think they're neat and smooth things out, especially with a remote release that pops the doors open. I think that's kinda cool. So, for that part... I like the after. For the rest of it, I like the before. I pretty much feel like no bodyside moldings and no badges makes the trucks start lookign too plain, after a certain point.. So, I'd vote for either the bodyside molding or the badging... or maybe both. I kinda like the no door handles, though.

Nice job, especially since you did it in M$ Paint!

Not trying to be an a$$hole or anything, but personally I hate it. I think it looks too big and empty without the door molding. I vote for leaving it on, but I think it'd look good with the 1500HD badge taken off.

Dude have you ever thought about getting chrome door handles? I think that would look good! I dont think that I would remove the door handles but it looks good with the 1500HD removed!

Usually I am a fan of nice and naked. But I have to say with your chrome steps, the chrome moulding actually looks kinda nice in the before!

But It just looks WRONG with no door handles! I think when you look at any truck, you expect certain things like ohhhh I don't know, windows, bumpers and door handles. No handle and no key is not practical should the battery go dead, although it should deter theft! I like the chrome suggestion on the handles, would be sharp!

The teeny tiny badge on the rear of the cab can go though. I always thought they look like little sissy jewelry on a big tough truck!

It really is a sharp truck though. That blue is intense.

I like your truck as it is. I'd level it and be proud of the fact that you have a d**n nice looking ride!

Taking everything off of a truck makes it just look cheap to me. Not sure where the notion of plain jane became custom. No door handles are a giant PITA for daily use. I think it looks cool but I'd reserve it for a show rig myself. I sure think you did one hell of a nice job with your modded pic though. Very nicely done!
