Skyjacker 3 Inch Vs Rancho 4 Inch

ive been considering lifting my truck now for a while but i dont want a hole lot somewehre around 3 or 4 inches. im torn between the skyjacker 3 and the rancho 4. of the two which would be the best im not really worried about the inch im just wondering which will be the easiest on the truck. with either lift you pretty much get to run the same size tire if im not mistaken so thats not really an issue either. price wise they are pretty close. any ideas

I had this same delima but i ended up choosing the skyjacker b/c you can run your stock rims, tires, shocks and you don't have to cut up your front diff like the rancho does.

The rancho kit is the same kit as all the other 6" spindle lifts out there. So your comparing a 3" lift to a 6" lift. The rancho lift drops the lower control arms 6" and leaves the upper control arm in the stock location and uses a new spindle to connect them. The differential is only dropped 4.5". Rancho calls it a 4" but it will provide 6" of lift with level lower control arms(no torsion bar crank) however the cv's will have the angle of being cranked 1.5". Just an FYI. It depends on what you want to do but it sounds like the 3" kit is better for you if your just looking for a little lift and dont want to cahnge rims and such skyjacker is for you.
