Hypertech Power Programmer Iii....sucks

I bought a Hypertech Power Programmer III a while back, and installled it..or pragrammed it, whatever, to my 2004 Silverado 5.3L. I liked it at first...at first. It did everything it says. I liked it..until I raced my buddy and his Bone stock 1972' with a 350 . His truck is lifted and has 35" tires my truck only has 33" tires. (His Truck Is d**n SLOW) ok so back to what I was saying, we lined um up, and one of my friends started us. When he said go we both put it to the floor ( I raced in drive to see how the hypertech did). And instead of shifting down like a truck is supposed to (or whatever it does to get all the torque when you punch it) ...it sat there and bogged out and took FOREVER to tac out. By this time he was already a truck length in front of me. Me and my friends sat there wondering how the hell that was possible. After a while I decided to take off the hypertech. We lined um up again... I spun the tires off the line (not intenionally) and then beet him by..well...a fricken lot.

So, sorry about the lengthy story, but I just wanted to say that I will never put that thing on my truck again. My truck was SLOW with it on, couldnt even brake stand, and couldnt rostem when I punched it around corners. With it off I can spin the tires for days. O and not to mention my friend had to get a new computer becuase it screwed his up. So Hypertech....HyperPeiceOfs**t.
