97 Tahoe New Fuel Pump Now No Start

Hi Group

I have a 97 Tahoe with 5.7 with TBI. I replaced the fuel pump because I was getting pinging under heavy load.

New fuel pump, new sending unit, new filter sock and new fuel filter installed.

Fuel at the TPI bleeder port on top of motor. Pressue seems good. Expected 2 sec hum at key on, 10 sec hum after cranking.

There is fuel in the throttle body, confirmed by removing the stainless lines.

 

Engine runs with gas poured into air intake.

 

Fuses checked and none blown.

 

I did replace the plastic lines from the frame to the top of tank with high pressure rubber hose. Cant see how that would cause a prob..but maybe.

 

Any suggestions appreciated.
