Before I Head Off To The Dealer

Well it was slow, and not it just stopped ( thank God up) now I just hear a relay click when I push any window button. Question

howard is it to take off door panel and replace motor if needed? Dealer gave a quote of $240 parts and labor.

The drivers window stopped working in my Grand Am. Got a motor from Advanced Auto for 90 some bucks. Took all of 20 minutes to put in. The doors on our trucks are just as easy to open up. Only 2 or 3 screws and some retaining clips around the edges. I would personally do it myself and save 100+ dollars.

Ive soon going to be having the same problem my passenger side window takes double the amount of time it takes for my drivers side window. It goes up fast till about half way and then slows down to a crawl. From the experience ive had replacing the speakers and door handles on my 96 sierra i think ill leave this one to a shop or the dealer
