Water Pump Question And Help

I own a 2004 envoy XL with a 4200 L6 engine. I think the bearing on the water pump went. The fan pulley is wobbling and the belt is sliding inward towards the engine. The pulley has alot of play in it. It chewed up a belt today.

just wondering how hard of a job it is?

I had a bad time removing the clutch fan. It was frozen on. I tried all the tricks.

The air hammer would even free it. I finally had enough and cut it off . Now I will be replacing the fan clutch also. I still feel i will be saving money in the long run.

 

it looks like its going to be tight going back together.
