Diablo Vs. Edge Vs. Flashpaq

I bought a Flashpaq. I believe it is the torque management that is not allowing me to get a little raunchy with the truck. I went flashpaq somewhat uneducated, and was pushed a little into it by the salesman.

Apparently the Diablo can eliminate the TM.

What are your thoughts / the differences? I'm considering skidding the Flashpaq for a Diablo, or an Edge.

It sucks waiting for rain or snow to rip it up a bit. The top end is awesome. Lastly the 87 tune apparently drains fuel economy, as opposed to raise it...

I got the Edge Evo and love it, but I am now curious about the soon-to-be released Diablo Trinity. It looks like the Edge, but Diablo has more "customization ability" and I have heard the new trinity will have TCM control as well (Predator does not for the GMT900s...yet).

I have had the Edge, and I now have the Predator. I prefer the feel of the predator. Out of the box it gives more "butt feel" Power. Neither of them removes TM, but the Predator uses a better tune to remove the TM more. I don't have a Flashpaq, but I have not heard great things from them. The Trinity will be interesting when it is released. Also, all Diablosport tuners will have TCM control sometime in the future.

Yeah, even though I like the Edge, I will probably get me a Diablo Trinity, assuming the reviews are good and it has TCM control. Can never have enough gadgets or toys. Then I'll sell the one I like the least. Probably next summer.

I have Silverado 02 5.3L and I would like to increase the HP to get more power and torque when I pull my Fifth Wheel !

Do you think this could help me ?

With all the $$$$$$$$$ you guys are dumping into tuners, you could just get HPTuner for $499, like I just did.... You can read your Edge or Superchips tune, and modify it to anything you want.

With all the $$$$$$$$$ you guys are dumping into tuners, you could just get HPTuner for $499, like I just did.... You can read your Edge or Superchips tune, and modify it to anything you want.

True, but then I'd need to buy a laptop and find the time/patience to figure it all out. I don't want to screw anything up either. I like the "Plug and Play" of a handheld, I don't need a dragster, just wanted improved throttle response and a bit more power. Maybe someday though....???

Whats up! Frank how much power did you get out of your truck? I have an 06 with the 4.8 and 5 speed, but i have 3.42 gears. I want to get a chip but then again i live where i have an emission test on the inspection test, which sucks. I found out if the chip is 50 state legal i can get it. Which chip or programmer is right for me to pass that test. I want some thing easy to change and read and can do it quick. I need alittle more power cuz i want to get some 285 on the truck. I mean its got the power now but like ever guy they always want MORE!!!!!
