superman072000 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Has anyone ever tried to clean their MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor)? I have heard that you can with a carburator cleaner or air intake cleaner. My wifes car through a MAF malfuction code. I am hoping that I can clean it and move on instead of Speading $100-$250 bucks replacing it. Who has tried it? Who has seen it done? What where the results? PS f**k Lowell!! Jacoby should of gotten MVP!! That kid worked his ass off in the series hittin .428. f**k lowell and his .400 avg. Screw A-Rod and his 300mil too. I HOPE THAT HE GOES TO A GOOD TEAM FOR LESS MONEY!!

C & A s Dad Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Use what Norseman has recommended and follow the instructions exactly. I would not use carb cleaner, intake cleaner, brake cleaner, electric motor cleaner etc.
cerbomark Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I agree , No carb or break cleaner. Electrical parts cleaner should be safe though.
