Adding Factory Cruise To 07 Sierra

Has anyone added factory cruise to an 07 Sierra Work Truck that didn't come equipped with it yet? I got a buddy that has a work truck and would like cruise. Any input would be appreciated.

Well with the classic body trucks they all had cruise, you just had to pay for the option of the cruise controll stock to be able to use it. I am not sure on the NBS, but I imagine its still that way. All you should have to do is get the switchs to work it and maybe the dealer to tell the computer to reconize said switchs, that should be all you need. I can't imagine a dealer charging more than a couple hundred for a turn key job of adding factory cruise.

I made the mistake of ordering a steering wheel with the cruise control switches then I just went out and took off my airbag only to find the column isn't wired for cruise. So don't buy anything till you go check ur wires. I have a 07 NNBS Work Truck.
