Hi,

Its getting cooler in the morning in my part of the country and I have been attempting to use my rear window defroster on my 2000-2500 Suburban. I used it 10 days ago, but the past 2 or 3 mornings when my rear window was fogged pretty bad, the defroster is not working at all now. I checked my connections at the glass and they seem to be tight. The switch appears to be operating properly due to the fact that the indicator light in the switch illuminates and my heated mirrors are clearing fine. Any ideas? Thank you. Larry.

Hello,

I checked my connections to the window and both seem to be tight. There are no bad spots in the grid and I also checked voltage at the wires the feed the defroster and found one side to have 12.8 volts. The other side did not show any voltage at all. As I have posted in previous posts, the switch operates properly and it clears my heated mirrors. If anyone has access to schematics, please advise me. Thank you. Larry. Wichita, KS.
