Lifetime Mpg In Dic?

I can find Avg MPG, but I like to reset that each time I fill up and especially before road trips so that I know what kind of highway mileage I'm getting. I thought these trucks had (or used to have) a lifetime MPG reading also which could not be reset....can someone clarify?

Don't know about the pickups, but our '07 Suburban doesn't have a lifetime MPG feature.

 

However, it does display total fuel used over its lifetime. If you take your lifetime mileage reading (odometer), and divide that by your lifetime fuel used, you'll get your lifetime mileage.

Yeah I guess I'll have to do it that way. I could have sworn my dad's 2003 avalanche reports lifetime mpg. Oh well, guess I need to stop being so lazy.

The DIC fuel info on the 2003s was much better than the new trucks.

 

I'd like to slap the marketing genius responsible for the GMT900s.
