:uhoh: Just looked on Hypertech web pages and noticed on their Dyno charts they have lowered their claims.....on the #30022 Power Tuner III, I recall something like HP gains of 28, Torq gains up to 32 Ft Lbs..........now their Dyno charts show gains of only around 9 for HP & Torq........anyone know why?

So they don't get sued for false advertisement probably. The only way you are going to get that much power out of a tune is getting a dyno tune or in-person tuning....with a good tuner. Maybe in a custom tuned PCM.

Several over the counter hand held tuners will make gains of 20-30 in HP and in Torq at the 'crankshaft', and these gains will be much less at 'rear wheel' ratings..........real world will be at the rear wheel. Hypertech most likely used Dyno crank ratings before and now use rear wheel ratings as most of the gains are at 4500 RPM and above.
