2007 Nbs Skid Plate & Hardware W/part #'s

I have seen multple threads on here recently where others were looking for the correct part numbers for the 2007 NBS GM skid plates and mounting bolts.

By the way, these are for the 1500 series trucks, I dont think they will fit the 2500 and up models.

And installation was a snap. Roughly 30 minutes to install. All self tapping bolts into existing holes, no drilling.

So I hope this helps you guys out.

Well I ordered mine from GMPartsDirect.com and installed them tonight. So here are the correct part #'s for those of you interested.

I am not positive if they will work for the 07/08 tahoes, seeing that I have never crawled under one of the new tahoes. If you go to your local dealer and look under a z71 tahoe and a z71 truck, you could look at there plates and make an assumption from there. That being said, i know that the old body style (2005/06) tahoes used the same skid plates as the same year trucks did.

And yes, the holes are pre-existing in the frame. All you do is use the self tapping metric bolts that I have listed in the part number above. You could also probably find some bolts to work at your local hardware store. I just bought the GM bolts so I wouldnt have to mess with going to search for bolts that fit.

I have Z71 package on my '08 Sierra. Are those parts not included in the package?

I need more protection for the underbody of my truck

The Z71 package includes these two "skid plates" along with heavier duty shocks.

My truck did not come with the z71 package so I bought them afterwards and installed.
