Bilstein are 5650' for my tahoe, are they really better than original ACdelco premium smooth ride?

The Bilsteins are a much better shock than the Delco's even if the Delco's are made by Bilstein. If you're truck is not lifted, KYB is another good choice for a shock as well. Manufacturers, in an effort to keep the cost of the vehicle down use the most cost efficient option they can. If it was my truck a GM shock would be the last one I would think of buying.
