Trip Odometer Help

Guys I have just bought a 03 hd Sierra and none of the trip odometers work. They will show up on the dash and register 0. Am I doing something wrong? And do you remember any recalls that address this? Thanks in advance.

I bought my 03 Silverado new, and the only recalls have been the rear seat belt and the tailgate cables. Some would argue the steering intermediate shaft SHOULD be a recall, but it's not.

 

I am not sure what you could be doing wrong. The only thing I can think of is maybe your reset button is stuck pushed in????

I have checked the owners manual and all it says is select and turn of or on, but it does not say how to turn on I am assuming you just hit the same button you would to select it.
