New Christmas Stuff

Check out the "Back Rack" my wife got me for Christmas....We put it on today and took the dog for a ride.....I told her I needed to come up with something to keep him from jumping out. So she got me this new Headache rack....She rocks. (I think she had some help from the guys at the 4X4 place)

 

What a great wife I have....First she buys me a new truck for Christmas, and then, buys me stuff to fix it up.....

 

All I got her for Christmas was a new Hummer H3..........LOL

 

I hope everyone had a great Christmas....We just need to get thru New Years Now!

Well about 2 years ago he got hit in the eye by something on the freeway. That cost me about 2 grand to have his eye rebuilt. A .45 round would have cost less but MaMa said it had to be fixed...You know how that goes.......LOL

 

So, He needed something to keep the rocks and bugs out of his eyes while riding in back. So I got him some motocross goggles and rigged that system up for him. He seemed to take right to it.

 

Like most dogs he loves riding in the back of the truck.....So he has to be protected.

 

The vet bills can add up fast....

 

Not going to go thru that again.....

 

He's a good boy and means a lot to us so it was worth it....

 

He loves his new GMC....He never really liked my Toyota.......Wonder Why??

That's a cool story. I mean, it's not cool that the dog got hit in the eye with a rock and he (and your family) had to go through all of that... But, at least now I don't feel bad for the dog being dressed-up like that! I couldn't help thinking "he has to HATE those ski goggles!" But, it all makes sense now..

Thanks guys....I'm just lucky enough to catch up to y'all. It seems like everyone on this forum has a nice truck.

 

I'm really loving mine. It's awesome.....My Toyota was nice way back when, but this 2008 GMC is the best truck I've ever had and my wife LOVES her H3.

 

If only my Z-71 could u-turn like the Hummer.....That would be great. NO DICE!!!!!

Thats crazy! I didn't know they were making a hybrid in the H3's. 5.3L right? If so, at least she got the V8.
