07 Nbs 1500 Ball Joint Issues And Driveline Clunk

Any one have this problem yet?? Im at 10k and I keep hearing a popping and grinding noise. Take it to the dealer today and sure enough the d/s upper ball joint is bad. WTF!!! I noticed that there are only 2 grease zerks, on the outer tie rod ends.

 

Also when I come to a stop at a red light or something, about 0-15 seconds later a get a very noticeable clunk. Seem like it is coming from the drive train. Then when I let off the brake and get ready to accell it dies it again. Almost like when I didnt lube the slip yoke on my 2003. My dealer has heard of this but has no fix???

my neighbor has a 07 chevy 1500 and had ball joints replaced too already and a shimmy or shake in the front end since 900 miles on the truck and dealer cant find the problem.
