Looking for an exhaust tip for an 08 NBS Sierra. I measured the stock exhaust tip and its 2 3/4" I cant seem to find a inlet with that diameter. Anyone put on a stainless steel tip (clamp on) if so what size inlet did you use. Thanks.

Thanks, I checked them out. Price is a little high though. I put on a 50 series Delta flow, and just looking for a single walled slash cut. Can anyone tell me what the difference betwen a dual wall and a single wall. I understand that there is an inner wall and and exterior wall, is that just to keep discoloration down from high heat exposer. Or dose a dual wall have another purpose?

The main purpose of double-walled construction is to lessen the chances of thermal discoloration. A tangential benefit is that you can mount the tip closer to the bumper, as double-walled tips will in general dissipate heat better than single-walled tips. Some manufactuers, such as Borla, also incorporate double-walled construction for aural purposes (these are their so-called "intercooled" tips). 2 3/4 is a fairly common inlet diameter size; while not as common as 2 1/2, you should still find a very large selection of tips.

Oh okay...I didnt know you had a different exhaust.

Did you just replace muffler or did they do a complete new catback with different exit?

I have a Flowmaster 50DF in my garage just waiting to be installed

I replaced my muffler on my silverado and might be looking to find a new tip too if i could find something that would look nice. Anyone have any ideas on some good looking tip set ups on the NBS??

I have a G35 Coupe that I replaced the exhaust on. I had my muffler shop weld the tip from the "G" on my Sierra. I think it looks great.
