Adding Homelink

Is there any way to add HomeLink to a 2007+ Silverado 1LT?

whats homelink?? I remember hearing something about it a while ago but dont remember what it does??

It's kind of like the old "ball and chain" but modern

 

Wireless sytems to work with your house, I think. As in turning on lights, security systems, etc.

 

And to answer the original question, not sure what the garage door buttons can be programed for. They may be able to "learn" the frequency needed to do what you want.

The only places it is tied in is power, ground and interior lights dimming. There should be no reason why it can't be added on.

I agree. I added it to my '99 a few years ago.
