Plugged To Vac Lines, Look Okay?

plugged up a couple vac lines on my 73 gmc with 350...both are pictured on the photos. Seems to run good now and the 4 barrel is finally kickin it...still needs a tune up though as it is runnin rought... but please anyone let me know if i should not plug them up and rather where they need to go...any input is well appreciated thanks!

The one that looks like a little top hat is your EGR. It plugs into the stock air cleaner top....(there are 3 or 4 Vac nipples on the stock cleaner top for most of those lines that have no hoses on them now to plug into).

 

You can cap them off with little to no worry, but if that EGR is as old as it looks it could be leaking all over. Your best bet for that one is to get a block off plate and say to hell with it all together.

 

The kink in the large hose in the second pic wont help you run any smoother for sure, That looks to be your fuel supply, pinching off that line wont help anything. Do your self a favor and get a hard line made up for there, or at least a SS braided one, something that will flex instead of kink off.
