"08 Tahoe Tow/haul Setting

When I press the TOW-HAUL button in my 2008 4wd Tahoe under normal driving conditions, there doesn't seem to be any noticeable difference in the shifting pattern.

I have not tested it with a heavy load, just normal people loading.

 

On my '01 it would hold it in a lower gear or immediately jump down if it strained the least little bit under any loading conditions.

 

Are the new ones setup differently than the older ones? Like some sort of load sensing?

with 7 yrs difference ,I would say yes ,remember the tow/haul only changes the shift programing ,plse read your owners manual for more info
