Content Theft Alarm Light On Steady

Ok, on my 2003 Silverado, i bought a new leather wrapped steering wheel that has the radio and DIC buttons in it, and got the new clockspring P/N 26101829, got everything back together and the truck runs and starts with no problems, but the content theft alarm light is on meaning the system isnt working properly. No if you lock up the truck and let the light go off, then open the door the alram goes off like it should.

There was one connector on the new clockspring harness that wasnt on my old one, and im pretty sure it is the one for the steering wheel speed sensor for the quadrasteer option, which mine doesnt have, so i just taped it up out of the way. I double checked all my connections and made sure they were all connected securely and im just wondering what might be causing this problem.

I do need to still get the BCM reprogrammed for the radio control buttons and the DIC, will this also work to fix the content theft alarm, or do i need to take it all apart again and take a better look??

Thanks for all the help.
