Uhhh Ohhh, No Guages!

First issue with my 07 GMT900. I bought my truck in April 07, and have had 7200 miles of issue free driving...Unitl tonight! I came out of work, stuck the key in the ignition and fired her up, then had a smoke with a friend before leaving. When I got back in the truck, I noticed that the tach showed 900 RPM, which was odd. I payed it no mind, and put her in reverse. I then noticed the air bag light and seat belt light were still on. I put in drive, and had no needle movement on the speedo. a quick check of the other guages showed the temp guage inop as well. I hit the onstar button and asked for a diagnostic check, everything came back good...WTF??? Drove 10 miles home with no speedo and no tach. Got to the house and cycled the ignition a few time, still nothing! Guess I will have to take it in, and that sucks!

Sorry, had to vent a bit.

There is an issue with the guage cluster. I've talked to a few guys that have had to get it replaced.

Mine did this too. I just turned off the truck,locked it,let it sit for a minute and then when I started it up again everything was fine. I figured it was just a fluke cause it hasn't done it again since.

Interesting that you say that...I fired her up this morning, all was well....took her to the dealer anyway to have the tranny reporogrammed and the TSB done for the fuel guage. I have to drop it off on Monday, so I will let the techs deal with it.
