Custom Tune

Well I did it I went and got me a custom tune. I fond a shop here locally that can do it for me and I must say that I am impressed. I bought an Edge programmer and installed it and it worked ok but not like I wanted, it sure did look cool but did not give me the power I wanted. I went and all he did was hook up the lab top down load my factory settings change a few things and up load it to the truck and I was good to go. I had him turn off the AFM and change my shift points so it revs much higher. I have read about all the guys that have gotten tunes and how it improved there rides but never really thought that it would make that big of a difference but here I am and I am impressed with the results. So if you know anyone who wants to buy a Edge programmer at a good deal let me know.

why would you raise the shift points so it revs MUCH higher? Have you done any other engine work?

Instead of my truck shifting at 4500 it goes up to 5400 before it shifts gears. The only other stuff I have done is all bolt on stuff.
