could you please tell me what the letters IAC mean? does it have somthing to do with the compter? ill tell you the problem iam having. the engine stays at high idol even when its warmed up. someone said it might be my IAC.

Idle Air Control Valve/Motor. It is located on the back left side of the throttle body as you are facing the vehicle. If it is a 4.3 v6

89 jimmy is the full size. it has the 350 in it. thank you for telling me what IAC stands for.
