Tpms Problem?

on my 08 silverado everytime i start the vehicle i get a left rear tire message, is there away to reset the monitors other than the "relearn" feature, i was thinking this just signaled a new position for the monitors not a pressure reset? i have checked my pressures and I know they are within range.

Do you have the stock tires? If not, then you need to have the TPMS reset for the new recommended pressure range which is +/- 10 PSI from nominal. You will need a Tech-II to do this. My dealer did mine for $65.

sorry i should have added that the truck is all stock, any ideas?

My front driver tire pressure monitor kept going MIA. Of course, it would only go for about 5min, and only 2-3x a week. Dealer checked and replaced the TPMS sensor in the tire, and so far so good!

 

You got a warranty, take it in and make them figure it out!!

The Tech-Resource-Wiki describes how you can use the Shadetree Mechanic method to reset the Tpms. Will this work for a 2008 Chevy 2500HD - stock wheels?
