snowman_audio Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Whats up everyone i am working on getting everything installed on my truck and it has been pretty smooth so far. One of the last things i need to install is mt leveling kit. I went with springtech 2" leveling kit. I have a 2006 silverado crew cab 2wd. Looking at the front suspension set up it doesn't look to hard to do my self. So a buddy and i lifted the driver side and removed the wheel. After that we dropped the shock and removed the sway bar. Then we even removed the tie rod. But i don't see how to fit this spacer in? There is not enough room to slide it in under the spring. We tried to push down on the A-arm but it wouldn't go any farther down. What did we do wrong? Do i need a spring compressor? Any help would be great.

I am almost certain that you did need a coil spring compressor.................

A spring compressor will definitely be needed if you are going to install coils spacers.
