That's in good shape compared to some of the vehicles you see in the military.  They get used and abused quite often.

Thats an abused truck?  I don't even see a dent on the thing!  By your definition of abused I think you're vehicles must be totaled the way you drive them!

For $1,275 that's make a great basis for a project truck (even though it is a long box)!  Body really isn't in bad condition, I'd yank the motor and drop in a 502 and beef up the rest of the driveline/suspension/chassis.  Then make a nice paint scheme, stereo, etc, etc.

I'm surprised that no ones commented on the fact that Paco feels bad that a CHEVY has been abused.  I tell you this whole conversion thing is just about finished up, you'll be dumping that brand new f*** of yours for a shiny new chevy.
