Key In Ignition Warning Tone.

Is it possible to disable the very annoying "key in ignition" high pitched tone??? My truck is a 97 K2500. Thanks!

I always pull my key out about 1/4" when it's in my garage.

Remove the sound box from under the dash, simple as that. It's probably about 2-3" in length and width and is slotted on one side so you can hear it (hopefully that'll help you to find it).

Want that also take care of the annoying headlights-on tone? Unless of course you have auto lights.
