Power Expectations From A W4me Tune?

Recommended Posts

I own a 03 sierra denali w/quadrasteer and recently purchased a W4me tune. I was curious if anyone has felt a noticable (butt dyno) difference in power from the 6.0L with the W4me or if just going to be noticable on a timeslip. I have msd wires, volant CAI, and a spintech muffler, no major mods. Also, any noticable mileage gains? I know the tuner talk is all over this fourm but iam having a difficult time finding info on tuned sierra denalis.

All positive replys appreciated.

You'll feel it, I sure did. I also went from getting 12mpg to just over 14 mpg city. I got a dual tune.

You'll definately notice an increase on the 6.0l even with his standard economy tune. Fuel mileage varies a whole lot. Might see a slight increase or no change at all. Otherwise the 6.0l is a very de-tuned engine from the factory, so it doesn't take much to get a whole lot of power and really feel a difference. But if you really want to feel the gains, make sure you run premium fuel. Since his tunes are set for dual octane, you're good to go.

And don't forget to get the case learn done (if swapping PCM's) as well as drive it around for awhile to allow the PCM to adjust to your mods/engine/driving style/fuel, etc.
