hey all! been here for awhile now and love it. i have learned and applied so much from here to my own truck and still got huge plans but for now here she is(hopefully this works never posted pics b4)

just this past january i replaced the 305 with a 350 from an 89. switched to electric fuel pump, rebuilt and mild port, and surface grind the heads. converted the tbi back over to carb. eddie intake,rebuilt quadra-jet,msd streetfire dizzy with an advance curve i put in(which is 1 light spring and 1 med spring) so much better reponse i recommend everyone to try a recurve kit !! replaced all gaskets in motor and painted the block and heads. really have just been fine tuning for a month or so and she really likes to go now haha!

Dude thats awesome I had an 84 c10 that was like that with the 305. That thing would spin tires like you were on ice or something.

 

Your really cant go wrong with a quadra jet carb, its prolly the best for what you got!

haha i love the fact it has no computer or wiring for that matter really! if i keep adding elec accs. i will need a new fuse block lol
