5.3 Afm Dual Exhaust

I want to put some exhaust on my truck.In the past Ive heard alot of small chevys with the flowmaster 40 series that sounded good to me.If I cut the pipes right before where they join into the muffler and run two of the flowmasters into 4 inch chrome tips coming out the rear.Will this sound good as it did on the old school motors.

It will sound good when the engine is cranking all 8 cylinders. My magnaflow doesn't sound very good when when it's only bangin' 4 but it's just a super deep rumble. Do a search there are a ton of exhaust sound clips and threads about this.

Did you go with 2 mufflers or a single in dual out ? Im wondering if a single in dual out will sound goo or if I should use 2.
