I just got a great deal on the GM 6" NBS oval steps from a seller of NOS parts on Ebay. How much you ask.....How about $364 plus $60 for shipping.....

Now I would like to pass on this seller's deal on the GM 3" Chrome steps, he has them posted as a starting bid of $199 and a buy it now of $275 plus $75 shipping. It is an unbeatable deal for someone looking for the GM tube steps! Good luck!

I guess thats a OK deal for GM stuff, aftermarket is much cheaper and can get a lot better for less.

Yes, you can get it for less, but you CANNOT beat the quality of the GM assist steps. At least not the 6" oval ones.

The GM 6" Oval one's are made in the good old USA to boot!

More than they can say about their alloy wheels.

well i figure you step on them and scratch them up so who cares what they look like lol i never invested in step bars on any gm i had because you dont have to step up to get into them. now a ford, running boards should be a standard option.

Yeppp, do they have problems with the 07-08 17" alloys or just the 20s?

No idea, I actually didn't have any "problems" with my 20's (other than they were ugly), but when I removed them and saw the "Made in China" stamp on the back, it made me extra glad I got rid of them. One less piece of Chinese crap on my truck.

I was looking at a new truck, but i would never get those 1200 dollar 20" clown wheels, i was just going to go with the GMC 17s, but I dont want a new truck until I can get it with the 6 speed and a 5.3, I dont need a 6.0 for a grocery getter like some people

Grocery getter? Are you directing that at me? I do tow a boat and yes, a 5.3 would have been enough. But the 6.0 included alot of other "goodies" (better trans, rear end, 4 wheel disc brakes, eng oil/tranny cooling). Also, I plan on upsizing my boat within the next few years and don't want to have to also upgrade my truck at the same time. :D

Lol I was just busting on you......I tow about 3000-4000 lbs and that wouldnt justify a 2500 for me, but I guess I could use the more power out of the 6.0 but I will be able to afford a Sle extended cab optioned like i want out of high school so i cant complain. The 6.0 and going to a slt will be putting me way over my head in payments, but i think a 18 year old buying a new truck by myself should be a good accomplishment.

I just took mine off to check and mine are not stamped Made in China. Never in my life would I ever think a US auto manufacture would install Chinese parts! However, since most vehicles have computer components now, I am betting every vehicle has Chinese parts.

Which wheels do you have?

Sadly, there are alot of Chinese (and other asian) parts on your truck. And NOT just electronics either.
