Is My Truck Really Slow?

Maybe you guys can tell me if my truck is as slow as I think it is. It's a totally stock 2002 2500HD Crew Cab Long Bed with a 6.0. My old truck was a 96 K1500 with a very stout 350. My old truck ran a 14.6@95mph in the 1/4 mile and was much lighter and obviously faster than my 2500. I'm thinking this truck I have feels so slow because of spending years in a very powerful and much lighter truck but it's been a few years now with this one and it still seems slow. I'm trying to convince my wife its time for a diesel or to supercharge this one or something but the damn thing is still going strong(meaning slow and steady) and is running like new at 150,000+ miles. Any thoughts appreciated, I'm sure its just my judgment but you never know.

Really, thats a BIG truck to get moving...2500 HD CC LB. Thats BIG!

Somebody put an 18 Wheeler on my test track.

It is a lot of truck to get moving, and it's also a lot of truck to get stopped. It's also a pain to park, wash, clean but it is so worth it. I just wish it ran like my old one did.

It's really not that slow. lol@ the stock shift points though. Get a tune and then be amazed at what it's like to hold 2nd gear to 90mph.

I don't think I would be complaining too loudly with a 355 in an S10.

Are you kidding me, Barry? I WISH my truck were as fast as yours! I'm looking at the speedometer thinking "That's stock? Holy effing hell!" If only I could afford a tune!
