Truck Feels Different

Recommended Posts

Seems like the past week or so my truck has driven so much better with no reason at all, shifts firmer, accelerates quicker and seems to even ride better. Maybe i'm loosen it with a 7 month old, oh well it's a good thing so it's a win win!! Have any of you experienced this?

Had the similar thing on my way home last night. The whole time on the interstate it felt like a barely had to press the gas to get it to go. Ran very smooth and efficient. I was thinking it was due to finally getting warmer weather here in WI, but maybe things are loosening up; truck also about 7 month new.

could be gas blend change.

RANT Start

All of these boutique fuels need to shoved down these lawmakers throats. There's enough OBDII vehicles to compensate for the various temperatures and elevations throughout this nation. All these fuels does is shutdown refineries a dozen times a year. And in most cases cause less MPG's and power. There just needs to be a reasonable cross section of vehicles and produce a fuel formula that has the best possible curves for these three varibles combined mileage, power and emissions. RANT Stop.

Not sure if WI has blended or winter gas. I do know we have 10% "corn-crap".

I think I know what you guys are talking about. My truck became self aware on march 28 2008 after only owning it for 7 months. Now it's trying to get the other machines together to take over the world..... Oh uhh I need to stop, my truck is watching me right now using onstar. Now were did I put my tinfoil??

:D:D:lol::lol:

If it was not for the "corn-crap" your gasoline would be about .85 cents more. I burn E85 and love it.

I'm pretty sure that is wrong... Seeing how E85 alone costs more than regular 87 octane. Not only that, E10 drops your gas mileage.
