Unless its a diesel,It don't have one (Or at least one thats serviceable, the only filter is in the tank on the fuel pump module)

BTW....Your '06 Suburban is the same way,no serviceable fuel filter.

Starting in 2004 fuel filters are in the tank and not servicable. Now I have been told the exception is the flex fuel which is still on the frame rail. Is this true, Rich.

Thanks,

Correct,No replacement needed. (Of course if you need to replace your fuel pump module the filter will be replaced at the same time)

Yes,For the 2004 model year only, and the 4.3-V6 trucks also (I.E. The only gas engine trucks that had a fuel filter for the 2004 model year was the 4.3-V6 and 5.3 "Flex-Fuel" V8 (RPO code L59-VIN code Z)

Now for the 2005-up year trucks the only ones with a serviceable fuel filter are the Duramax's.
