01 2500 Suburban Tranny Question?

I just had my tranny fluid changed friday, 76000 miles, 2001 2500 suburban 8.1 4x4, I picked it up from the shop late last night, and drove it home and noticed that it will not shift into 4th gear. I am also not sure about some of the other gears, when driving slow, it seems like it only shifts into 2nd gear - or maybe just stuck in 2nd. When i took it out to the hiway to check, it would not kick down, and at 55mph it was at over 4500 rpm. I had absolutley no problems before having the fluid changed, it was running great- has anybody ever seen this? i checked for any blown fuses - did not see any also the shop told me they disconected the battery because my alarm had gone off (they did not see the keys under the mat and i had left the door open so they coulod work on it) - could this have done anything to computer or something maybe? i have not talked to the shop yet they are closed sat - but get the feeling it will be tough luck for me- anyone with any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :withstupid:

Just some advice to anyone who has a garage or shop change your tranny filter and fluid, if it does not shift properly afterward check underneath the tranny and make sure they have re connected all the connections. There was a wire harness that was not connected after they had dropped the pan. :withstupid::withstupid::D

So, when you connected the wire, did it fix your problem?
