New Volant Powercore Cai

I just received my new Volant PowerCore Cold Air Intake kit the other day. I have had many intake kits for various vehicles in which this is my second Volant. I'd have to say the instruction sheet looks more like a parts list. Even though I have done a few CAI's, you would think it would come with instructions on removing factory system and steps on installing the new one. Has anyone installed a Volent CAI on these new trucks yet? If so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a '07 GMC Sierra that the new CAI will be going on.(once I get the honey-do list completed).

I also found an install sheet for a 2007 Sierra, wasn't sure if this is the correct one you bought - Volant Part # 15253.

Yea, that is the one I purchased. I hope to get under the hood maybe Monday. I'll let ya know.

When I got mine it had a install sheet in the box. Maybe they just forgot to put it in there. From the looks of the post above mine, you have them now. It's an easy install. Getting the clamps tight enough to make the tube wiggle free was the hardest part. I ended up using a socket instead of a screwdriver. Then I saftied all the clamp screws with safety twist wire to be sure they don't come loose. (It's the aircraft mech in me that made me do this part)

I really like the kit. It looks better than stock more than anything. I really did not feel a whole lot of power difference. It sounds good also.
