Tranny Pan Depth

How can I tell if my pan is deep or shallow?

I have a 2000 and my pan is about 2 7/8 deep, take a tape and crawl under the truck and measure from the tranny to the botttom of the pan, I don't know why there would be 2 different pans on a 5.3 but there is.
