What Tire Pressure For 20" Tires?

Recommended Posts

Posted

My driver's door sticker says 35psi for the stock 16" Bridgestone Duelers from the factory. I use these tires in the winter only.

I am running P275/55R Cooper Discover HT Plus tires on a set of 20" 2003 Silverado SS Wheels in Spring/Summer/Fall.

What is the correct tire pressure when I run the 20" tires/wheels? I currently run 36psi. I want to optimize wear and gas mileage.

99% of the time, the truck bed is not loaded. If there are different pressures for the rear tires depending on the load, that would be helpful also (would appreciate both pressures). My understanding from other posts is that the front tire pressure is the same regardless of rear load.

Many thanks!
