Strobes In The Roof Marker Lamp? Hows It Done?

Saw a 07/08 Silverado with strobes in the ends of the center roof marker lamp, he also had them in the taillights. But I was curious about the roof marker. Is it an upgrade roof marker or did someone mod the stock one? Anybody do this before?

I've never seen it done on roof marker lights, thus I Can't even see how those strobes would even fit in their. I have a total of 4 but can handle up to six. Unless they make a smaller size strobe, that would be the only way I can see it fitting in there.

They were probably Hide-a-LEDs in place of the bulbs on either side. Nova Electronics makes the smallest hideaway LED right now.

I won't ask "why would you want that?", but..... oooops, looks like I just did ask ...... but go to one of those shops who outfit cops, ambulances, etc. They're got strobes you can put about anywhere. One near me does my radio antenna mounts, and they've got more "hidden" lighting stuff than you can imagine.

Your not goig to get any thing small enough to fit inside the houseing. The onther option is to get an led flasher from a company such as whelen or tomar and splice that into the factory wireing for the markers. and even if you did by some act of god got them to fit it would melt the lense. However i have don them in the "cargo lamps" in the chmsl the 1inch standard led hideaways do fit if you remove the stock bulb and enlarge the hole

 

But my questian is why not to knock your idea but if your looking for warning lights there are much better options if your looking for something small check out whelens os series lights

I saw it on an NBS Silverado thought it was a nice clean idea. I will be plowing a few driveways and the parking lot at my business this year. Also I often am in parking garages and I am looking for a low clearance warning light. I probably wil just get a low clearance 360 degree led stobe setup.
