I thought I'd snap a few pics for you guys since I know you all like looking at pictures. obviously we have my truck parked next to one of my coworkers new trucks, it's a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 with the LT2 interior group. The truck is set up with the complete GM chrome package including rolling on the massive chrome 22's wrapped in Forterra tires. the dealer also installed a spray in bedliner for him when he took delivery of the truck. sorry if the pics seem blurry but I took them with my camera phone.

That Chevy more than makes up for my truck's nearly complete lack of chrome!!

Anything bigger than 20" rims should be illegal. :ughdance:

That is a nice looking truck. The black looks pretty sharp in the sun, and the chrome just makes it gleam even more. Congrats.

David, Your truck looks 1000X better!!! :ughdance:

Thanks, I love my truck and prefer the overall style of the GMC's over the Silverado's but I couldn't help but post a few pics of the guys truck because it's got to be one of the nicest looking NBS Silverado's I've seen in awhile. I'm a big chrome fan so I tend to think more chrome the better as long as it's not over done.

Very Nice! I think the NBS Look awesome lifted.

Yeah you can see the black trucks nose diving pretty good in the first and second pictures. His truck would look good with a lift and some knarly meats but he is leasing it so that isn't going to happen.

Does it snow where you guys are from? I think nbs would not be able to go through snow drifts.

I don't like it. too much chrome and the oversized rims make a truck look hideous. JMO

NO CHEVY IS HIDEOUS! :rollin: o and there is never such thing as too much chrome. I think this Lamborghini is perfect amount :uhoh:

    • I understand that. The price is what it is, though. The price is what oil costs today, where our choices have led us, where supply is, and where demand is, in the market that is. Speculation is for futures, what we think the price will be, but with incomplete information at the time the price is forecast. I know you know this, but you appear to be intent on making a secondary point here about what you think the market could or should be, if only other choices.   In 1975 it became illegal to export US Crude. I'm conflicted on what the best answer is. Free markets allow export in pursuit of profit. But there is also a lot to gain by producing and consuming our own oil here. How do you reconcile it?
    • That sir is a choice. And even if it were not for all the reasons stated, this disruption has zero to do with the reality of the actual logistics and everything to do with the greed of SPECULATION. Spot price is irrelevant to reality.
    • What I think you're saying is there is supply here at home, and in Venezuela, and we could ease pricing if only it were favorable to do so.   Well, yes?   But that's not the current market. Supply isn't what could someday exist, if only, it's what producers are willing to produce and sell at a certain price point.   The national price of single family homes would come way down if we'd just slap together a few million homes this summer.   RAM and GPUs would get a lot cheaper if we just set up some factories to produce a bunch more and stopped using it to build out AI data centers.
    • The turn signal/multifunction switch is faulty.  I've seen a few of these go bad at work.
