Tech Wiki For Gmt900

I just looked at the Tech Wiki again and their are a bunch of replacement TSB's listed. None of them state the reason for the replacement they just give the steps to replace the parts. Does anyone know why these things are being replaced?

 

Engine Shield Replacement

Transfer Case Shield Replacement (• For Vehicles Equipped With The For Themp 3023/3024-nqh Transfer Case)

Heated Oxygen Sensor Replacement - Bank 2 Sensor 2

Oil Pan Skid Plate Replacement (1500 With Rpo Nzz)

crap, never mind, I will just move them to the GM Diagrams GMT 900 part of the Tech Wiki...the new category and the Diagram Category overlap...***sigh***

 

 

 

 

if you have any further suggestions or if you notice any other stuff out of place...let me know, I appreciate the feedback. The Tech Wiki is a work in progress and it has come a long way, but it still has a way to go

The Wiki is great! I just saw these replacement diagrams with the TSB's and didn't know if there were problems with the parts. My warrany is going out soon so I tring to take care of everything. By the way my last road trip my A/C was leaking alittle in the cab is a problem I can fix easily or do I need to take it to the dealer?

Take it to the dealer. They will pressure check, test for leaks and recharge the system if any is found (so long as it is considered defective). I have had minor A/C cooling problems in the past and my freon was a little low each time so they recharged it for free (under warranty)

Alright Thanks. It was just leaking alittle water but I didn't know if it was a big deal to fix. I will take it to the dealer though.
