Saw "Lord of the Rings" tonight...

We went to see Lord of the Rings tonight.  This movie has sold out every showing at our local theatre since it came out last Wednesday so we bought the tickets this afternoon and went back to see it tonight.  I was a big fan of the story/books as a kid and it was awesome to see it on the big screen.  The directors/producers did a great job of staying true to the original literature.

 

Best news for Tolkien fans is that this is just the first movie in the trilogy!  Two more to follow!!

Glad to hear it's good.  I will take my Daughter to it, probably.

 

Also heard it left Harry Potter in the dust - but I guess the plot and theme are different.
